The Palace of Shadows
On a dark night, a young man named Samer decided to uncover the truth about the palace. Samer was naturally adventurous and obsessed with collecting and documenting old tales. He carried a flashlight and a notebook, embarking on his journey to the forest despite the villagers' warnings.
As he made his way through the dense trees, he felt something watching him. The wind howled unnaturally, carrying whispers as if the forest itself was speaking. Samer finally reached the palace, its massive wooden doors worn out yet mysteriously ajar.
Upon entering, he discovered that the palace was more than just ruins. The walls were adorned with faded paintings, and the dust-covered furniture hinted at a glorious past. Suddenly, a cold breeze passed by him, and he heard faint footsteps.
"Hello?" Samer called out with a trembling voice, but the reply came as a barely audible whisper: "Help us... free us."
He approached the source of the sound to find a large mirror covering a significant part of the wall. Inside the mirror, he saw faint faces looking at him pleadingly. One of them explained that the palace was haunted by the spirits of a family cursed due to an ancient sin and that the only way to free them was to find a hidden key deep within the palace.
With determination and courage, Samer began his search. He passed through rooms filled with secrets and riddles until he reached the basement. There, he found an old chest containing the key. As he held it, the palace began to tremble, and the mirror emitted a powerful light.
The spirits appeared before him and thanked him for his bravery. With their final words, the spirits vanished, and the palace disappeared, leaving Samer standing in the forest with the key in his hand as a memento of an adventure he would never forget.
